There is no set limit for live chat operators.

To add an operator:

  1. Have them create a user account
  2. Go to your live chat channel's page
  3. Click on the channel's Admin Console button or menu (gear icon)
  4. Click on the Users menu/tab
  5. Add their user id under Operators.
